Meet Dawn – Our Social Services Director Born in Las Vegas and raised in Boston, Dawn eventually made her way to Colorado by way of New Mexico, where she lived for seven years. She earned her degree in Small Business Management from Burdette College and went on to manage several business offices before choosing to stay home and raise her five children. When she re-entered the workforce, Dawn took an unexpected path as a bartender an experience she swears was “perfect training” for her future in healthcare. She began her career at Bethany Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in the business office, but with encouragement from a co-worker, transitioned into social services just one year later and never looked back. Now with 13 years of experience, Dawn brings both her East Coast sass and her unwavering dedication to resident advocacy. She works tirelessly to ensure our residents and their families feel supported and cared for every single day. Outside of work, Dawn is a proud “Abi” (Abuelita) to her four grandsons. She loves thrifting, cooking, and creating unique tinctures, salves, and other homemade goodies in her kitchen. We are so grateful to have Dawn on our team. Her compassion, expertise, and commitment make her an incredible asset to our residents, their families, and our entire community.
