We’re excited to kick off our new staff spotlight series by introducing someone truly special, our AMAZING Director of Nursing, Cheyenne!
“I’ve lived all over Colorado but grew up in the rural town of Rush, where I graduated as valedictorian from Miami Yoder High School. I began my education at Pikes Peak Community College, earning an Associate’s Degree in General Studies and my CNA certification, and later completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Nightingale Nursing College.”
Although nursing wasn’t Cheyenne’s original plan, she quickly found her calling. She began her career in hospice care, then transitioned into long-term care and skilled nursing. In March 2024, Cheyenne joined Lowry Hills as our Infection Prevention Nurse and by July, she stepped into the Director of Nursing role, where she now leads our amazing nursing team with heart, strength, and dedication.
When she’s not supporting our residents and staff, Cheyenne enjoys reading, crocheting, and spending time with her wonderful family especially her many nieces and nephews.
