Meet Our Registered Dietitian at Lowry Hills!
Say hello to our talented Abril R. RD, who brings both culinary flair and clinical expertise to our team!
Originally from Arizona, she moved to Colorado after winning a full-ride scholarship through a national culinary competition and attended Johnson & Wales University, where she earned her Associate’s in Culinary Arts and Bachelor’s in Nutrition. Her passion for food and wellness led her to Auburn University, where she completed her dietetic internship and earned a Master’s in Nutrition.
She joined Lowry Hills in June 2024 as a part-time dietitian and now supports our residents full-time after completing her first year, bringing heart, skill, and creativity to everything she does.
Outside of work, she’s married to her best friend (they even went to the same college!), and together they love cooking and exploring new restaurants. She’s also a proud cat mom to Feta and Pepper Jax.
